From the swamp and the keys: syn.terra's Aeon / Moongrind opens the Aeon Ouroboros with grooving swamp rock — brass tremble-and-wail over earthen piano, crunching guitars, and stomping drums — before Aeon / Leviathan bites back with frozen swamp horns, frogressive rock piano, and snarling metal, and Aeon / Umbrasia closes the cycle with mechanical jazz dredged straight from the bog. Mechanical Jazz and Mellow Evil round out the industrial-jazz forge. For something dreamier, Jav Grojas's The Sea of Silver drifts through piano, strings, and flute over an electronic base, while Beyond the Clouds of Fantasy floats in that liminal state between dream and wakefulness.
