Straight from the analog frontier: Dino DiMuro's Fill It Up With Regular delivers grungy lead guitars, wild proggy keyboard excursions and Beefheartian crunch on his debut vinyl release, while Song for a Gorgeous Blonde's Till tornet övergivet veers between heavy-duty ambient, classical strings and a rock finale that might have visited Strawberry Fields. Jav Grojas's Beyond the Clouds of Fantasy floats in that intermediate state between dream and wakefulness with synthesizer, piano and pads, and his Variace unfolds in three gapless neoclassical movements of variations on a central theme. Pathetique's Turbulence rounds things out with luscious, jarring soundscapes fighting for their right to exist.
