“A bedroom cassette with a jam-rock flavor, while still featuring the band's trademark electronica-downtempo vibes”
Dust off the tape hiss and tune in: Mythical Motors marks twenty years of pioneering crushed lofi power-pop — the unsung godfather of a movement now finally catching up — while Song for a Gorgeous Blonde twists through fractured experimental rock à la Beefheart and Gentle Giant. Loungeman drifts through spacesynth, vaporwave, and lo-fi on a downtempo cosmic voyage, and TDC Tunes rides modular synths and lofi beats down London's not-so-new New River. Lakitunes blends LoFi Chillhop with NES & SNES nostalgia, and Ük keeps it mellow with their first foray into chillhop.
