Twisted prog dispatches from the avant-garde: Song for a Gorgeous Blonde's "Lars Karlsson" sounds like a car wreck with Gentle Giant — crunchy rhythms, louder guitars, and zero survivors — while "Höstaffären" unleashes Gothic-Electro-Industrial beats awash in minimalist strings, as if Phillip Glass and Danny Elfman crashed the same autumn affair. "Zen älskarinna" offers an 8-minute ambient cinematic drift through Asian-influenced sounds — didgeridoo and all. "I Am Gorgeous Yellow (Also)" goes loud and crazy fast with stomping dinosaurs in the mix, and Buzzard delivers a war-themed double shot of heavy fuzz anthem and acoustic folk tale.

Disunion by Buzzard (Doom Folk Metal) cover art

“Lead single 'Disunion' from upcoming LP Hush Now (out 10/16) by Buzzard, in which the doom troubadour delivers a state of the planet address to the void above.”
