“'...capturing a jangly intensity reminiscent of “The Backyard”-era Miracle Legion (Janglepophub)”
From the dream-pop depths of Leicester: Shopfires' Surplus EP unearths the tracks Neil Hill nearly left sleeping on his hard drive forever, delivering yet more of his signature melancholy, dreamy, jangly indie-pop brilliance. Coaxed out by persistent "musical naggings," these surplus gems prove that even Hill's off-cuts are anything but ordinary — sitting comfortably alongside his acclaimed 2024 albums.
