Swedish foursome The Slow Summits have to be the finest purveyors of Anglophile jangly indie-pop sound that was so dominant in the late 80s and early 90s.
Moving seamlessly through sound that have touchpoints surfacing around the sounds of acts such as The Sweetest Ache, Sea Urchins, The Woodentops, The Close Lobsters and The Brilliant Corners, this act showcase such a sound better than any other recent act.
For the first time on physical format this compilation includes the majority of their back catalogue that was previously only released digitally (including the entirety of the wonderful 'Languid Belles' EP) as well a previously unreleased "Golden Age" track.
