Shapes Like People

Following the success of 2025’s ‘Ticking Haze’, the second album from Shapes Like People ‘Under the Rainbow’ pushes the boundaries of traditional Jangle Pop - evolving the genre by mixing elements of Dreampop and Shoegaze across its twelve tracks.

Never repeating itself, the songs sit together seamlessly, making up a cohesive album full of hooks. The mix of uptempo and slower deeper cuts blend together to make up this distinctive album. A little darker in places than the first, but a flawless uplifting whole.

Ever present are Kat’s luscious vocals and harmonies, sounding more confident than ever and on top form. We also hear more of Carl on vocals, making the odd track feel like a lost ‘The Shop Window’ song, especially when the guitars are in full Jangle mode!
