Sektor Voltage
Sektor Voltage is the solo project of Nicolás Pomilio — producer, guitarist and singer from Gran Bs.As
zona sur, Argentina. Born in 2020 as an experimental sonic quest, it mines humanity from a dystopian,
absurd, and apocalyptic present. Starting as a DJ and producer in techno, New Beat, EBM and
darkwave, Nicolás evolved into a dark, danceable live set shaped by '80s influences.
Across three albums — Amor a mi negra lista (2023), Animal en extinción (2024) and Oscura noche
del alma (2025) — Sektor Voltage explored darkwave, EBM and industrial textures inspired by
Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, early Ministry and Front 242. Feeling something was missing, Nicolás
retreated to his bunker, made guitar his main tool, and honed his voice to express the hybrid of a
human trapped in digital-industrial claustrophobia. He returned to Sektor Voltage’s core: electronic
landscapes fused with raw guitar and voice — soul and tools.
Drawing on both vintage and new styles, Nicolás embraced post-punk, coldwave, and '80s darkwave
influences like Kraftwerk, The Cure, Opéra de Nuit, Malaria!, X-Mal Deutschland and Siekiera. That
sound gave rise to En otra dimensión: a record where the soul slips beyond one reality into astral
journeys, guided by faith. Motorik beats, post-punk guitars, futuristic synths, and a cavernous tenor
shape dark, danceable atmospheres that hypnotize and transport you to another time and place.
