Sektor Voltage, a fresh voice in Argentina’s underground music scene, returns with a new full-length
album inspired by the dark sounds of the 1980s. Combining morose post-punk vocals and guitars,
bursts of synth-punk energy, and driving electronic body music rhythms, the up-and-coming solo
project helmed by Nicolás Pomilio enlivens the best parts of the nostalgia of these dark scenes while
keeping his sound renewed for the 21st
century.

With a string of prior albums leading up to the release, En otra dimensión is the fourth musical
reckoning crafted by Pomilio. The eight tracks on En otra dimensión (“In Another Dimension”) pull the
listener into a universe of motorik-inspired beats, the old-school Frankfurt scene with nods to Belgian
New Beat, and a heavily dance-insistent sound that bleeds with energized-yet-dour post-punk energy.
The first single, “IN DEN VERBORGENEN WÄLDERN” (“In the Hidden Forests”), showcases the ‘80s
German dark scene inspiration. It features a music video highlighting the artist’s solitary journey
through natural landscapes, contrasted by the sound’s own pulsing machinery. En otra dimensión is a
musical statement that enraptures the listener from the first beat and becomes its own realm to get
lost in.
