Springfield, Virginia, based singer-songwriter-bassist Pete Rafle (aka PR Songsmith) is an alumnus of Steve Earle’s Camp Copperhead and Richard Thompson's Frets & Refrains, where he has had the privilege of honing his songwriting craft under the tutelage of Dar Williams, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Gretchen Peters, Jill Sobule, Richard Thompson, and Sloane Wainwright.
