6 Weeks Holiday, Nowhere To Play

This is the 17th album & it’s titled “6 Weeks Holiday, Nowhere To Play”, all tracks were wrote & recorded in Zenxith’s house in late 2025 during the cold months of October & November, so it really didn’t take long to record this album, in fact it only took 35 days from the first track to the last track being recorded & a lot of these songs were done while I was drunk it sort of carries straight on after the last album, I just couldn’t stop writing songs during this time period, the first song was recorded on the 23rd of October 2025 & the last on the 26th of November 2025, all just recorded directly into my phone, there’s no need for studios etc, especially from a DIY perspective, no label etc etc, this is authentic! This album is a lot more personal, I feel my songs have gotten more real over the past few releases, the cover art is the gorgeous Natalie Wood standing on a swing in 1955, which I designed myself on the 3rd of December 2025, the title of the album comes from a picture in an old book which has been stuck on my guitar for years now. Tambourine, shaker & a drum machine throughout, although a couple without drums, sprinkles of synth keyboards playing quietly in the background, an acoustic lead guitar in there somewhere, handclaps also, lofi jangle pop from the bedroom! The songs are covered in sometimes 6+ guitars, the main lead as standard but with loads more going on around it, a lot of the songs are about love & just life In general & some comedy thrown in there & some sad songs too, overall tho I feel it’s a more upbeat album, minus a few tracks, all still with that gentle touch tho, a very dreamy & atmospheric sounding album but still extremely lofi & with lots of tambourines being thrown about, this album consists of 13 tracks & 3 singles, you won’t find this in stores or anything like that, only available from me directly, as usual. This is available on CD as issue 17 on my own label Salt Mine Records, limited to only 100 copies. There’s fuck all left for the kids to do.
