From the kitsch naming conventions around the name Pierce or Kingan to the disgustingly glorious artwork that is an anti-marketer's dream, to the occasional pervy song titles and omnipresent sense of playfulness Pierce and his Vancouver-based lo-fi minstrels, always give the impression that they are doing things their way just for the absolute fun or f*ck of it, without ever really acknowledging the convention or categorization that surrounds us.
