'Every Room Is An Escape Room' both broadens and refines the jangly power pop of the trio’s debut, If You Play Expect To Pay, stripping the sound back to its basic elements while introducing some fuzzed out alt-country, heartbroken indie folk and a cover of one of the best songs of the 90s.
