As an avid, 'nerdy completist' of Matt Addison and his Mythical Motors recording project that has been releasing the most precious of lo-fi, jangly, fuzzy power-pop for nearly 20 years (surely one of the primary pioneers of a sound that is gaining so much prominence these days), it has always rankled me that there were several EP and singles that were blessing us with their digital presence on Bandcamp without ever finding their 'proper home' as a CD or cassette in one of my music cabinets.
Plucking up courage to approach one of my heroes to correct this anomaly, Matt turned out to be one of the loveliest, unassuming (absolute) gentlemen around and within half an hour we had finalized plans to release the missing 'physical formats on CD'. As such this compilation includes the Halos Of True North (EP), Omega Highway (single), A Shadow That Comes From Nothing (single), Negative Eleven (EP), and The Heights Of Tomorrow (EP).
