'Ukulele Songs from the North Devon Coast' is one of Darren Hayman's earliest solo releases after Hefner and The French. It was originally released in 2006 as the second in a series of four British Holiday-themed EPs for Static Caravan Recordings. The original EP is long sold out in its original 7-inch format, but has been available since 2008 on the 'Great British Holiday EPs' CD/DVD set (so you may already have these songs in your collection) with 'Caravan Songs,' 'Eastbourne Lights' and 'Minehead,' plus bonus tracks, which include covers of Chas N Dave, Connie Francis and Lindsey Buckingham, plus the unreleased original "Victim Song."
Darren will be supporting David Gedge (The Wedding Present) in September.
