Closure Is A Waiting Room is the solo post-hardcore/screamo project of multi-instrumentalist T.A. Wills, a resident of Jacksonville, FL. Their music has been compared to such acts as As Cities Burn, La Dispute, and Gatherers. The project started in 2022, but did not start releasing music until late 2024. On February 7, 2025, Wills, with the help of Friend Club Records, released their debut EP “Pirouettes Into The Ceiling.” This release focuses on Wills’ cycle of grief after being diagnosed with AUDHD, and touches on such topics as hyperfixation as a coping mechanism, struggles with eye contact and fitting in, anger with the US healthcare system, and the feeling of wanting to cease to exist without actually dying.
