Various Artists - Start-Track

Organized by tenmonthsummer and presented/distributed through Start Track, "DIY & The Diaspora" is a compilation of AAPI bands to highlight and celebrate bands in the community with AAPI representation. Featuring previously released songs, new tracks, and unreleased demos, the goal of this compilation and future installments hopes to stand as a testament to the resilience and musical triumphs of all AAPI persons. Against stigmas, cultural forays, familial/community backlash, to make anything at all is a miracle. We celebrate this miracle. This year, as peoples who understand we must extend our love among our own communities, all proceeds from the compilation will be donated to aid those affected by the 2024 Rio Grande do Sul floods.
