"I hope the world makes room for us" takes the listener deep inside the existential dread that Gregory (oldphone) thought would disappear as adulthood marched on. The melancholic guitars over the dance-y drums create a sense of life racing forward and the chaos in the attempts to slow it down enough to tame. The album invokes imagery of those cool, gray autumn days that holds your depression like a baby. Then when you feel better, takes you to a club to dance the rest of it away.
