Introduction & Background

Please introduce yourself and share a bit about your background.

My name is Huda, I was born in early November 1992, and I'm an up-and-coming artist—a singer, composer, and instrumentalist. Sometimes I play amazing pieces, but I don't really appreciate my work; I consider it ordinary. I sometimes jot down words in my journal, but I'm not a professional, and I work alone, so my work isn't very professional. However, I'm trying to improve a little, and all my activities are currently done online.

What's your musical origin story?

My love for singing began as a sweet spark during my school days thanks to a lovely teacher who discovered my voice and encouraged me to sing. I spent those years sharing my voice at various

school events, beautifully wrapping up that chapter with a praised high school performance for a warm audience of 350 mothers and teachers. After taking some time to explore other arts I lovingly returned

to my musical roots in 2024. Since then I have shared an instrumental track and two independent singles, gently stepping into the indie music scene as an artist who creates and composes my own world.

What were the driving forces or pivotal moments that inspired you to pursue music?

To be honest it was my schoolteacher when I was young who truly inspired me She really believed in me and kept telling me that my voice was beautiful

wanting so badly for me to sing She always pushed me to perform at school concerts and events I’m so deeply grateful to her especially since I didn't really believe in myself back then

Musical Identity

How would you describe your style of music?

I’m really into calm vibes pretty much like Lofi music and things similar to it. I also feel like my voice is soft and a bit emotional so I don’t really see myself fitting into other genres at least that’s just how I view myself

How is your personality reflected in your work?

I am a deeply emotional and calm person I love being inspired and bringing comfort to people, which is why I’m so mindful of sending out good

vibes through my work I really want people to feel at peace when they listen to my voice I feel like my voice can have a negative impact just as easily as a positive one so I have to present my work in a comforting way I don’t know maybe I’ll develop myself later on change my mind and explore other styles Who knows?

Describe your creative process when you write new music.

As a rising independent artist my process is actually quite simple I use BandLab to record my vocals singing lyrics that I’ve either written myself or found elsewhere and then I just compose a melody for them That’s really it it’s very modest and straightforward.

Current Work

What is the name of your latest release?

I want A life

What was the inspiration for that release?

Hmm, this might sound a bit funny but I had written some simple lyrics in my notepad and just left them there Then I saw a contest on BandLab to make a track with a specific style using a beat from a list they provided I felt so excited and thought Why not participate? Maybe I'll win xd

So I grabbed my lyrics picked a beat from the list sang composed the melody, and ta daaa ✨ I dropped my work! Unfortunately it looks like I didn’t win So I simply went ahead and published it anyway just like that xd

What challenges or unexpected moments did you encounter during the writing/recording process?

I was so nervous the first time singing over an online beat and I kept rereading and rereading my vocals and recording them more than once also I felt like the lyrics were bad but I did it in the end

and a certain melody came to my mind and I felt it made the song good but it was a scary experience like did I make a mistake or did I do it right but I just told myself to drop it and let whatever happens happen and anyway it would be a learning experience for me even if I failed

Promotion & Engagement

What strategies do you find most effective for promoting your music?

To be honest I only promote on TikTok and I don't get many views because my account is brand new and I just promote here as well

How do you engage with your fans online and offline?

I am only on social media and I have Bandcamp SoundCloud TikTok BlueSky and YouTube and anyway all my links are in my Linktree

What upcoming promotional activities or releases are you most excited about?

This time I’m planning to purchase specific lyrics and music provided I get enough support to release a solo single Either way I feel like I’m not quite ready to drop an album just yet
