The B Roads
A middle age, middle England, Post Rock, Jazz Folk Road trip.
The BBC Late Junction show named their ‘Senseless acts of beauty’ instrumental album as “One of the most ear catching records of the year” with recent albums and singles receiving BBC and international acclaim. Ivor Novello winner Joris de Man called The B Roads "Off-kilter, original, and refreshing” music that “constantly keeps you guessing”.
Based in an ancient Military Barracks in the exact center of England, their fourth album – ‘Nowhere Fast’ is the crossroads meeting of Post Rock and Jazz folk. Half instrumental, half song, as usual, atmospheric and laid-back, with lush arrangements, and songs of when AI gets personal, of crossing boundaries, of yearning and longing, of the weave of love, of the mouth of the man in every town, of folklore, of approaching death, of the endless road going nowhere fast.
