Ed Herbers

Ed Herbers began writing electronic music on his parents’ computer in 2006, making chiptunes and lo-fi, bleepy songs. Over the years, Ed's sound has evolved, but his DIY roots are certainly still firmly planted. Working out of a minimal home studio, Ed's music explores many different styles and concepts, from ambient soundscapes to upbeat acoustic instrumentals. Each album is its own journey–nothing ever sounds quite the same as what came before it.

Ed has collaborated with a number of other artists. In 2023, Ed joined Passed Recordings, a label focused on releasing atmospheric, dreamy, and instrumental music from around the globe. He is a member of Extra Credits (an ambient music duo with Screener), was featured on the 24 hour long Today Until Tomorrow compilation from Imaginary North, and has several works in progress with Ceramic, Chris Hobbs, and conno.
