The album was written in the swiss countryside, mixed in Los Angeles, mastered in Finland and the track 'The Wind' features an exclusive pedal steel performance by Ben Lester, who has contributed to some of the best indie albums incl. Sufjan Stevens' Carrie & Lowell. The soothing cover art depicts a tranquil landscape with a cosy cabin. The perfect environment to wind down, be happy and escape the world's problems for a short while. All of which applies to the calm, relaxing music on "Happy Days" as well.
