green bird is a musical journey that explores the many shades of love, partnership, and connection. This album was created in collaboration with my fiancée, with each track reflecting a unique piece of our relationship – from lighthearted and joyful moments to deeper, more introspective ones.
The album’s ambiance is carefully designed to evoke vivid imagery and specific feelings. Imagine walking through a park at sunset, with golden rays of sunlight filtering through the trees, or cycling along a tree-lined path as a refreshing breeze brushes your face. This is the atmosphere that green bird aims to create: a blend of tranquility, positivity, and gentle introspection.
Sonically, green bird merges lo-fi hip-hop with soulful elements, striking a balance between simplicity and sophistication. It invites you to slow down and savor life’s little moments – whether during a productive afternoon at work or a relaxing evening after a long day.
The title, green bird, symbolizes freedom, freshness, and growth – themes that reflect both our relationship and the emotions that inspired this project. If this album were a color, it would be predominantly green, with subtle touches of yellow – like a temperate forest bathed in summer sunlight.
With green bird, my goal is to offer you, the listener, a sonic space that feels as light as it is meaningful, allowing you to connect the tracks to your own universe and personal experiences.
