Gonna Get Lost for a While details a brief relationship that can be summarized by the phrase "right person, wrong time." Getting on a train, but looking back as it goes forward.

It will be track 2 of a future EP planned called Distant Dreams. Each track from that EP, such as this one, tell the story of three past relationships. Everything from song structure, genre, mixing, and recording techniques relate to how that life experience played out. The EP as whole will act as a declaration to finally separate myself from the past and move forward.
