In the spirit of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, Holst’s The Planets, and Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights comes Alice in Wonderland by Fantastic Quest—an indie, synth-driven themed album blending dream pop, new wave, retro soundtracks, and echoes of half-remembered TV themes and technicolor fever dreams.
Written and performed by Fantastic Quest, the album reimagines Alice's tale with indie synth pop melodies. It views Wonderland and its characters through the looking glass, unfolding in a series of pop songs, cinematic interludes, and indie vignettes.
Fantastic Quest is the musical outlet of Paul Fanning, from Australian band Turnstyle.
