Highway Patrolled By Aircraft (20th Anniversary Remix)
2025 marks the 20th anniversary of my rock song "Highway Patrolled By Aircraft." Caught between the transition from analog to digital, this song's drum and guitar tracks had been copied from a cassette dub into Pro Tools before overdubbing. Though the song had fans, I've always been aware of the slightly lower fidelity of this track. Now in 2025 I've been able to recreate the song from scratch. I was able to replace the cassette drums with a clean digital copy from Terry Rodman's session, then recorded all new guitar, bass and keyboard tracks. Finally, killer vocalist Darren Lee Richardson came on board to perform a totally different vocal, along with an epic closing guitar solo.
