Man Again

If listeners know anything about me, it's that my upbringing on Gower Street in Hollywood had a profound impact on my life: creatively, intellectually and emotionally. When my parents sold our childhood home, my siblings and I each had to deal with the feelings of loss in our own ways.

At one of those melancholy junctures, I imagined what it might be like to return to those Hollywood streets as the person I was now. Incredibly, that opportunity came up in 2012 as the new owners of the Gower Street house needed renters for several years. Moving back, the house had changed very little and the experience of living there for another 12 years was just as amazing as I expected.

However, before all this happened, I had this song demo that I'd never recorded. I decided to bring it out now because I always liked the lyrics and melodies.
