This EP gathers three versions of "COMPTINE", a track that has evolved over seven years. The first iteration was my first - and maybe too prudent - attempt at ambient techno, and I felt the need to push it further. The second version is infused with a throbbing melancholy that would suit what was to follow... It was released in February 2020, just before the pandemic outbreak. And my discovery of the Roland TR-8S groovebox set the tone for the third variation, fresh from 2023. The result is way more techno and even more melancholic... Teardrops on the dancefloor?
