Mixing a plethora of jazz styles with influences as varied as dubstep, drum'n'bass, funk, R&B, hip hop, rhythms/harmonic concepts from around the world into his compositions, Mike balances an avant-garde creative spirit with relatable, poetic melodic sensibilities and a focus on cinematic ideation, resulting in a distinguished artistic voice.

Bringing the joy of jazz across genre lines to a diverse audience around the world across 8 EPs/albums reaching over 50 million streams, Mike's music has had widespread support from the BBC, Triple J, HuffPost, NPR Morning Edition + Jazz Night in America, Downbeat, KCRW, Spotify's "Best Jazz of 2020-22", Amazon Music’s “Best Jazz of 2022-23”, top 10 charts on sound.xyz - against all odds as an independent self-releasing artist.

In 2020, his trio was 1 of 5 global finalists in the largest ensemble based competition in jazz: the DC Jazz Festival's "DC Jazz Prix" and he's brought his live show to notable stages including the Kennedy Center, BRIC Jazz Fest, Philadelphia Museum of Art, APAP, Future Music Forum, World Cafe Live, Catalina’s & Madrid’s Auditori Nacional among others.

Mike made his scoring debut in Netflix top 10 global show “Spy Ops” in 2023 and his 9th release “Valencia” arrives September 23 2024.
