Kai Niggemann

Kai is a German musician, sound artist, and composer known for his innovative work in experimental, electronic, and theater music. He collaborates on dark ambient project DUNKELWELLEN with flutist Conni Trieder and on politically charged electro duo dAMAGEMENT with Emily Welther. A longtime contributor to theater and music theater, Kai co-founded Paradeiser Productions and has created live soundtracks for numerous productions since 2000. From 2013 to 2022, he was a member of the 25-piece jazz/noise band The Dorf, performing with artists like FM Einheit and Phill Niblock. He plays the Buchla 200e as his primary instrument and designs sounds for synthesizer companies such as Access and Waldorf. Kai also founded the GERÄUSCHCHOR ("noise choir") and hosts Radio Oracle on 674FM, focusing on sound art and audio plays.
