Through the golden age of vapor- and adjacentwave Twitter, I remained a devout consumer and user of the #freealbumcodes hashtag. As Elon Musk turned the platform into a shithole, you can ask my wife: Losing touch with that network really sent me into a depression. Most thankfully, it looks like all the big players have made their way over to Blue Sky and used GetMusic.fm to help keep the scene(s) alive. There might be no one in the entire music ecosystem of 2026, mainstream or not, doing more right now to help DIY and grassroots musicians find paying audiences all over the world more than Chuck and this website. For what we can get back of the old connectivity, I know it means the world to songwriters and composers at my level.
