The highly anticipated full-length album Sorrows by Warm Gadget is out now on Re:Mission Entertainment. Featuring the singles The Masses, Annoyed, and Debutante featuring Page Hamilton of Helmet.
Sorrows continues Warm Gadget’s unique and often strange musical path. This album blends elements of alternative metal, industrial, and noise rock. At times it almost sounds like music from a film portraying an apocalyptic future, while still carrying ties to today and back to the heavy music of the 90s. On Sorrows, the band captures a sound that is both very new and also familiar at the same time.
From start to finish, Sorrows is the equivalent of a back alley in some big city, with dark corridors, shady characters, and a perpetual feeling that danger could be lurking around the very next turn.
On the track Debutante, a song about the underbelly of pageantry and societal financial values (and the unsettling implications that come with them), Warm Gadget enlisted the vocal and guitar talents of the legendary Page Hamilton (Helmet, David Bowie, etc.).
