"Last Days of Rome" is the start of a new project following the band's third album "Seasons in Exile". This one is a foray into writing about their time based in Italy for their first six years of existence. Inspired by the sight of the "Angel of Grief" statue in a cemetery in Rome, it deals with themes of the eternal versus the temporary.
