The Semantic Verses

Described as Contemporary Death Jazz by some, this album is a fusion of experimental, and not so experimental, rock styles stretching from lo-fi black metal through to jazzy time-flexing headfuckery, with edges. Complementing the instrumental compositions of Doc, this album features guest vocals from the wonderful John Robb, bass player and vocalist for the Membranes as well as the pilot of LouderThanWar; R* the secretly Norwegian Arctic Thor-whisperer; the inimitable Kerorg from the mediterranean borders of Italy; and the not-so-secretly Norwegian Inflabitan. Additionally, a guest appearance from Chad Thomas of Morning Parade brings his idiosyncratic and divergent guitarmanship.
