In “Earth,” TOUCH Samadhi proudly presents a remix album with a range of ambient and dance flavors. The collaboration between TOUCH cofounder Kri and label newcomer Dan Simpson is a melancholy ambient journey which, like many Kri projects, wears its 90s influences on its sleeve, from the Orb to Global Communication, reflecting on themes of isolation paired against cosmic awe, the tale of a space traveler gone too long.

Nick Tuttle’s remix is a bleepadelic re-imagining of the original that incorporates chiptune and glitch influences, at turns gorgeous and gritty, following a chugging bass alongside crystalline versions of the original track’s melodies.

The Richter Nebula flip the tune into to a chillwave-inspired sunrise anthem, moody and deep, with a rhythm drenched in lush reverb driving a constellation of weightless leads.

Label mainstay Mombi Yuleman remixes the tune with strong influences from Ultimae Records and other chillgressive classics, building his version on a clean, downtempo trance rhythm that puts his signature cinematic sound on display.

Finally, the trance-funk mutants known as Hyperboreans reinterpret “Earth” as an anthem for the Anthropocene in the format of their signature 120 bpm groove.
