After what feels like both forever and no time at all, Azure is finally here 🎉🎊🍾

At its heart, this album tells the story of my first experience of love, now ten years in the past, the heartbreak that followed, and everything I learned in the aftermath. It’s about growing up, looking back, and finding meaning in moments that only made sense with time.

Songwriting has been part of who I am since I was about fourteen, and creating this record has been a lifelong dream come true. More than anything, it’s the album I wish I’d been able to hear when I was growing up.

To everyone from high school who sat beside me at a piano or with a guitar and asked to hear another song, thank you.

To every music teacher who helped shape me, thank you for giving me the foundations to create.

To my family and friends, thank you for believing in and supporting this album long before it existed.

A special thank you to Cam, who let me drag him down south for a weekend songwriting trip where “Lion’s Hill” and “Wine” were written. That weekend became the spark that eventually grew into the album you’re listening to now.

To Shayne, for the sick guitar skills on Starry Skies, Lion’s Hill, and Midnight Confessions. Let’s do it again!

David, thank you for your incredible talent, your creativity, your patience, your adaptability, and the endless laughter we shared in the studio. Making this album with you over the past two and a half years is something I’ll always treasure.

And to Elena, thank you for bringing this world to life through two very cold (but incredibly fun) photoshoots. The visuals are every bit as much a part of Azure as the music itself.
