objet

Mono is my first album under the name objet.
I could have released it as a tempus fugit record, but I was tired of a certain way of making music and needed a break.
Does changing a name change the music? Probably not. But I realized I felt freer without the weight of tempus fugit’s long discography and the teenage years that came with it.
I spent a year working on this release. It was a joy to (re)discover both old and new technologies, to play drums, press keys and buttons, and to weave subtle traces of my favorite musicians into my own sound.
