Nosferatu D2
We’re Gonna Walk Around This City with Our Headphones on to Block Out the Noise

Nosferatu D2 were Ben and Adam Parker, two brothers from Croydon, UK. The band formed after the dissolution of Tempertwig and existed from 2005 to 2007. In this short lifespan, the duo found fans at BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), Radio X (John Kennedy) and the NME, as well as Los Campesinos!, who Nosferatu D2 supported.

The band’s unreleased debut album “We’re Gonna Walk Around This City with Our Headphones on to Block out the Noise” was picked up as Audio Antihero’s first release in 2009, and its belated release earned the Parker brothers an international cult audience.

This long abandoned record was raved about by Drowned in Sound, Pitchfork, The Line of Best Fit, DIY Mag, and the story of their unconventional legacy was detailed in-depth for broadcasts for BBC 6 Music and Public Radio International (“The World”).

In more recent years, "It's Christmas Time (For God's Sake)" has become a minor seasonal hit via Alternative holiday playlists.

Though Nosferatu D2 never reformed, the Parker brothers worked together again as The Superman Revenge Squad Band on 2013’s acclaimed “There Is Nothing More Frightening Than the Passing of Time” album. In 2023, the siblings reunited in the My Best Unbeaten Brother trio, who released 'Pessimistic Pizza' debut in via Audio Antihero Records in 2024.
