Hail the Witch
Here's a special Halloween 2025 remix of 'Duck the scold' from the album Eldest Daughter Energy. Under the alternative title of 'Hail the Witch', the track has been remixed and mastered by Marc Jackson.
The song refers to archaic forms of punishment, such as the ducking stool, the scold's bridle and witch burning.
The acoustic B side to this release is new track 'Strings', a much more subdued but still witchy song reflecting on the quietly toxic puppeteer power of doomed friendships.
