“Another Death at the Castle” is a single 22-minute track from Chicago-based dungeon synth artist, Mortlach. Incorporating ambient guitar work alongside traditional DS instrumentation–a Juno DS61 and a handful of VSTs– “Another Death at the Castle” is a melancholic journey through darkened ruins; a haunted landscape that exudes mystery and peril. Sonically, “Another Death at the Castle” exists between the cinematic grandeur of a Morricone soundtrack and the ethereal waves of hypnotic DS melodies.
