Matthew Greasley

Railwave is a collection of electronic compositions inspired by movement, travel and transmission. Built from synthesiser sequences, atmospheric textures and evolving rhythms, the album explores imagined journeys through industrial landscapes, forgotten infrastructure and shifting signals.

Drawing on influences from ambient music, electronica and experimental sound design, the tracks move between melodic passages, mechanical pulses and more reflective moments, creating a sense of travel without a fixed destination.

Originally recorded across a number of years and now gathered together for this release, Railwave captures an ongoing fascination with railways, communication systems and the spaces between places.
