This album represents something special to me as I wrote it to be something of a reflection of my life over the past decade. For years, I've been moving around, uprooting my life and my family every few years. When I wrote this, I thought about how I'd like to finally settle in one place long enough to put down some roots and grow. Yet the feeling of always wanting something new and novel always persists.

The album was created primarily with a one string slide guitar running through various FX chains. The accompaniments to this instrument are in the form of different software drum machines and mutated pads made with Arturia V Collection, NI FM8 and Absynth, and Sugarbytes Obscurium.
