“Cartesio” is our darkest and most introspective track so far, a journey through darkwave, post-punk, and coldwave sounds intertwined with deep, progressive atmospheres.
The song stems from a reflection on death, observed from an intimate and almost physical perspective, where the limits of the body meet the urge to keep existing. Through the lyrics, questions emerge about the uncertainty of the future, the meaning of past experiences, and what remains when everything seems to fade away.
Despite its somber and melancholic nature, “Cartesio” does not surrender to desolation: in the end, a glimpse of light appears as a form of resilience that encourages us not to lose ourselves and to recognize the value of life, even in its most fragile moments.
It’s a less danceable and more profound track, born from the need to give voice to existential questions and ultimately transform them into a sense of hope and resilience.
