"Sociological Veranda" marks Kilmarth's debut album, the culmination of several years of dedicated work. The album seamlessly weaves together various influences, from the dark electro tones of "Fordism and Other Delicacies" to the cold declamations of "Vergessen" and "Lurking," and the drum and bass vibes of "Splintery Fear." Additionally, it explores IDM with "La Marche Noire des Blattes" and even ventures into a hybrid of IDM and Samba with "The Dark Samba Complex."
