Dark Secrets Sleep presents a brooding and threatening aura of dark gloom. Heavy percussion bellows below expectant and slithering synth work. Like fires burning bright from the mountain's maw the heroic and driving passages create an immense contrast. The limited amount of instruments give the album an old-school quality with the dusty, ancient flair of legends long bygone. In the end a diverse experience featuring quite some less expected bits - never ceasing to hail the old masters.
