Kannon
Blue Nile

Alice Coltrane, one of our most revered influences, introduced "Blue Nile" on her groundbreaking album, "Ptah, the El Daoud," in 1970. What sets this track apart is Alice's transition from piano to harp, accompanied by Joe Henderson and Pharoah Sanders swapping their tenor saxophones for alto flutes. This ethereal masterpiece transcends time.

Our rendition took shape over an evening at Josh's house on March 4, 2024. With Dillon at the helm, the mixing process breathed life into our collective vision, infusing each note with authenticity and depth.

In our rendition of "Blue Nile," we've attempted to capture the essence of its hypnotic allure. Resulting in dramatic crescendo that reaches a fever pitch.
