Buried For Later
Over the last eight years or so, I have played and recorded many pieces of music, often originating from piano improvisations. Excerpts, snippets, ideas and real tracks, mainly to accompany the image and video material I produce as a photographer. Indeed, I can now affirm that my planetary system works by intertwining photography, music, images, sounds, colours, waveforms, shades of light, noises, grains, textures, LFO pulses, hue and saturation curves. I feel happy when intuition leads me to understand their mutual influence, interaction and attraction scheme. The pieces in this compilation belong partly to something used in earlier multimedia works and partly to some rediscovered pieces of music, rearranged to fit this musical sequence. I dug bones out of the ground to satisfy a growing appetite.
