PHASE: NULL is an operational condition with no time limit.

This album is constructed from field recordings made at construction sites and along journeys through areas undergoing functional change. The hum of machinery, structural resonance, and low frequencies are maintained over long durations without reaching a climax or resolution.

“Null” does not refer to absence, but to status. A phase when space has been registered in the system but has not yet completely changed form.

The drone moves slowly, repetitively, and steadily. Changes occur gradually, almost imperceptibly. There are no major events. There is no closure.

The process continues.
