Homegrown explores growing up, love, loss, mental health, and how no matter what in the end it all be okay. Homegrown is raw, tracks are still in a demo state. This album was going to have a lot more originally but it got shelved to see where Wildlife would sit in my catalog so far. I decided to shift focus to edm that made me want to produce in the first place. I had some new stuff cooking, but about a month or so after finishing the demos for Homegrown, my furry companion decided to leave the land of the living. So, naturally, I had to release this one for Teddy. He was always curled up behind me in the studio, and was always willing to listen. I miss ya fuzzy butt. This marks the end of the JAKAL lo-fi era.
