The first release from j.demar, the creative force behind meant., the going home E.P. is a maturation of his creative process blending together found sounds and disparate genres to create haunting storylines and soundscapes. At once cinematic, and introspective, these four songs work together as tableaus communicating an unapologetic poem recited in tones. going home delicately ponders the frailty of our human life (which withers like a leaf) alongside the Silence of the world, (which is everywhere all at once, and which undergirds everything, always - it is THE blank canvas upon which all other sound and noise even become discernable) and invites the listener to focus on their own beating heart and breath in relation to that Great Silence.
